Abstract

This study analyses the relationship and influence of digital learning on entrepreneurship education among students in vocational colleges in Selangor. The rapid advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) and the implementation of Malaysia’s Digital Education Policy (2023) have underscored the necessity of embedding digital competencies into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Employing a quantitative research design, data were obtained from 154 students across three vocational colleges using a structured questionnaire adapted from validated models. Statistical analyses using Pearson correlation and multiple regression were conducted via SPSS version 29. The results revealed a statistically significant but weak positive correlation between digital learning and entrepreneurship education (r=0.361, p<0.001). Furthermore, the regression model was found to be significant (F=2.715, p=0.017), explaining 14% of the variance in entrepreneurship education. However, none of the six individual digital learning dimensions demonstrated a significant predictive effect. These findings suggest that the contribution of digital learning to entrepreneurship education is collective rather than attributable to a single factor. The study provides important implications for policymakers and educators, emphasizing the adoption of an integrated and holistic approach that combines technological integration with social support, learner motivation, and infrastructural readiness to strengthen entrepreneurship education within TVET institutions.
