Abstract

In navigating globalisation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) towards the realisation of Society 5.0, educational institutions are confronted with numerous complex challenges. The present education system should demonstrate greater resilience and adaptive capacity to remain relevant and responsive to rapid societal transformations. Within this context, school leadership constitutes is pivotal in ensuring effective school governance and organisational excellence. The ability of headteachers to lead with clarity of vision and strategic foresight is crucial in translating institutional missions and aspirations into tangible educational outcomes. Accordingly, this study seeks to examine the level of sustainable leadership practices among headteachers in primary schools within the Simunjan District, Sarawak. Employing a quantitative research design through the survey method, data were collected from a randomly selected sample of 50 primary school teachers. The data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 29.0.
