Distributive leadership and PLC practices were measured using structured questionnaires adapted for the study. A total of 200 teachers from various secondary schools in Pulau Pinang were selected as respondents. The data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. The findings indicate that principals’ distributive leadership was implemented at a high level, and that teachers’ engagement in PLC practices was also high. Additionally, a significant positive correlation was found between principals’ distributive leadership and teachers’ participation in PLC practices, suggesting that effective distributive leadership contributes to stronger professional collaboration among teachers. This study provides evidence that principals’ leadership practices play an important role in fostering a school climate that emphasizes collaboration, shared responsibility, and continuous professional development.
