Volume 2, No. 2 of the Journal of Islamic Educational Research (JIER) was published online on 02 October 2017 as a special issue. This issue includes four accepted articles authored by nine scholars from institutions in Malaysia and Indonesia. The contributors consist of authors from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), University of Malaya (UM), State Islamic University Antasari, Banjarmasin, Indonesia, and State Islamic Institute Samarinda, Indonesia.
