CALL FOR PAPERS 2025
Journal of Islamic Educational Research (JIER)
Vol. 11 (No. 1 & 2) – June & December 2025
The Journal of Islamic Educational Research (JIER) is a peer-reviewed academic journal managed by the Program of Islamic Education, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. Since its establishment in 2016, JIER has served as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality scholarly works in the field of Islamic education.

Published biannually in June and December, the journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical reviews related (but not limited) to:
- Philosophy and Foundation of Islamic Education
- Curriculum and Pedagogy in Islamic Education
- Educational Psychology and Guidance from an Islamic Perspective
- Islamic Leadership and Management in Education
- Integration of Naqli and Aqli Knowledge
- Contemporary Issues in Islamic Schooling
- Islamic Educational Technology and Innovation
JIER is indexed in MyJurnal, Crossref, Google Scholar, and other recognized academic databases, providing wide visibility and accessibility to a global readership.
We invite researchers, scholars, educators, and postgraduate students to submit their manuscripts for Volume 11, Issues 2 (2025). All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly rigour and quality.
Important Dates:
Issue 1 (June 2025): Submission deadline – 31 May 2025
Issue 2 (December 2025): Submission deadline – 31 October 2025
